How pump2 works

pump2 launches coins with one idea: the money a coin's trading earns for its creator should make that coin safer to hold, not end up in someone's wallet.

Nobody holds a bag

Creators don't get a token allocation and can't buy in the launch transaction. No part of the supply is set aside for the creator, so there is no dev stash to dump on holders.

Where the fees go

Every trade pays a 1% fee. About 50% of that (0.50% of each trade) is the creator share. On pump2 that share belongs to the coin, split like this:

Added to the pool100%
Buys the coin back and burns it0%
Platform treasury0%

The split applies to every coin and is shown on each coin's page. Anything that goes to the treasury is listed in that coin's history too.

Before and after graduation

While a coin is still on its bonding curve there is no pool to add to, so its fees are held and shown as "held until graduation". Once the coin graduates into a pool, the held amount and every fee after it are spent as above.

Why the LP is burned

When fees deepen the pool, the resulting LP position is burned. That liquidity can never be withdrawn, by us or anyone else. A deeper pool means a single sell moves the price less.

No vamps

A ticker can't be a copy of an existing one: case, spaces, look-alike letters, leetspeak and tacked-on words like "official" or "2" are all treated as the same ticker. The same goes for names. A picture that is a resized, recompressed or recoloured copy of an existing one is refused, and one X account can launch one coin.

What we don't promise

  • Coins are not sniper-proof. Bots can still buy early once a coin is trading.
  • Cropped or colour-inverted copies of a picture are not caught.
  • The X handle on a coin is entered by the creator and is not verified.
  • You can lose everything you put into any coin.

This site is running in simulation mode. Markets, trades and fees are simulated so the whole flow can be tried without a chain or money.
